Privacy policy

Your Daily Games collects as little data as possible. You can browse and play without an account, there are no ads, no analytics or tracking tools, and we never sell or share your data for marketing.

Who is responsible

The data controller is the publisher of Your Daily Games, a private individual in France (see the legal notice). Contact: contact@yourdailygames.com.

What we process, why, and for how long

• Your account, if you sign in: email address, name and profile picture, managed by our authentication provider. We keep an account identifier, your favorite games and the games you submit. Purpose: providing your account and syncing your favorites (legal basis: performance of the service you asked for). Kept until you delete your account.
• Game submissions: the information you enter about a game, reviewed before publication (legal basis: performance of the service). Kept until you delete your account; approved games stay listed as public content.
• Favorites without an account: your browser stores your list and a random identifier that isn't linked to your identity. Kept until you clear your favorites or your browser storage.
• Technical logs, including IP addresses, to keep the site running and secure (legal basis: our legitimate interest). Kept 30 days.

Cookies and browser storage

We only use storage that is strictly necessary for features you ask for (theme, favorites, staying signed in), so no consent banner is needed.

Service providers

Your data is processed on our behalf by providers for hosting (Vercel, Google Cloud, Neon), sign-in (Clerk, and Google if you choose it) and content processing. Some of them are in the USA; these transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can access, correct, delete or export your data, object to or restrict its processing. You can delete your account at any time from the account menu: your favorites and submissions are then deleted from our database. For any other request, write to contact@yourdailygames.com. We answer within one month.

If you think your rights are not respected, you can complain to the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).
